Why this combo works

Modular polypropylene (PP) tiles plus hexagon LED kits give you speed, safety and visibility. Tiles snap together, pieces are replaceable, and hex lights provide even, shadow-controlled illumination.

Flooring: choose surfaces by zone

  • Wash/Detail Bay: Vented tiles for drainage. Channels keep the standing surface dry and grippy.

  • Cutting/Install Zone (PPF/Wrap): Solid/3D tiles for a firm, flat surface that won’t “give” under squeegees or razor work.

  • Walkways/Client Area: Use a contrasting color to guide traffic. Finish transitions with edges/ramps.

Quick flooring checklist

  • Tile size: ~40×40×1.8 cm (≈ 6.25 tiles per m²)

  • Add 5–10% overage for cuts/borders

  • Order edges/ramps for door thresholds

  • Keep a spare pack for future swaps/expansion

Lighting: see defects before your client does

  • Color temperature: 6500K for crisp, daylight-like visibility on paint.

  • Output target (lumens/m²): Basic work 400–600; detailing 700–1000+.

  • Patterns: Hex 14 for a single bay, 15/PRO for double or deeper bays.

  • Mounting: Flush for low ceilings; suspension for 3 m+.

  • On-camera: Quality drivers minimize flicker for reels and YouTube.

Zoning your shop (sample plan)

  1. Reception/Check-in: Solid tiles (quieter under foot), accent border.

  2. Prep/Wash: Vented tiles; channels handle rinse water and foam.

  3. PPF/Wrap: Solid/3D tiles; neutral colors to reduce color cast.

  4. Photo Corner: Hex pattern with clean backdrop for consistent content.

Cable & tool management

  • Run power along the room perimeter in tidy conduit or raceway.

  • Mark a tool parking zone with color blocking.

  • Keep floor anchors/rails out of walk paths to avoid trip points.

Maintenance & longevity

  • Vented: blow out or vacuum channels.

  • Solid: mop with neutral cleaner.

  • LEDs: quick visual check of connectors every 6–12 months.

FAQs

  • Can I use a floor jack on tiles? Yes—use a jack pad to spread point loads.

  • Will tile color cast affect paint inspection? Choose neutral solids in the inspection zone to minimize reflections.

  • Video flicker? Good drivers + stable power virtually eliminate it; test a short clip before final mounting.
